Data Sharing Policy (Availability Statement)

Advertising Policy

All advertisements and commercially sponsored publications are independent from editorial decisions. The Editorial Board does not endorse any product or service marked as an advertisement or promoted by a sponsor in Nursing Science Studies (NSS). Editorial content is not compromised by commercial or financial interests, or by any specific arrangements with advertising clients or sponsors.

The management of Nursing Science Studies (NSS) reserves the right to decline any type of advertising that may damage the reputation or brand of the journal, or that is inappropriate to the journal’s published content.

Nursing Science Studies (NSS) will not accept advertising for products or services known to be harmful to health, including but not limited to tobacco and alcohol products.

Advertising Standards

Advertisements may not be deceptive or misleading and must be verifiable. They should clearly identify the advertiser and the product or service being offered. Exaggerated or extravagantly worded copy will not be accepted.

Advertisements will not be accepted if they appear to be indecent or offensive in either text or artwork, or if they relate to content of a personal, racial, ethnic, sexual orientation, or religious nature.

Once an advertisement has been deployed online, it may be withdrawn from the journal website at any time if the Editor(s)-in-Chief or the Publisher request its removal.

Separation of Advertising and Editorial Content

Nursing Science Studies (NSS) will not allow any treatment-specific or drug-specific campaign to be targeted to a specific article or to any page where the content relates to the product being advertised. Advertisers may not link to articles using keywords, nor may they request that advertisements for a specific product appear in the same location and at the same time as a specific article mentioning that product. Advertisers may also not refer to an article published at the same time as the advertisement appears.

Advertisements and editorial content must be clearly distinguishable. The journal will not publish advertorial content, and any sponsored supplements must be clearly identified as such.

If a supplement did not undergo peer review, or underwent a peer review process different from the rest of the journal, this must be explicitly stated.

Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions will not be influenced by current or potential sponsors or advertisers, and will not be influenced by marketing decisions.

Advertisers and sponsors have no control over, or influence on, the results of searches that users may conduct on the journal website by keyword or topic.

If any advertisement is requested outside the journal’s standard advertising positions, the request should be submitted to the editorial office, which will provide a full and final decision within three business days.

Advertising Complaints and Third-Party Advertising

Information about complaints concerning advertisements will be included on the Advertisements page.

The journal may partner with third-party advertising companies to serve advertisements and/or collect certain information when users visit the website. These companies may use cookies or web beacons to collect non-personally identifiable information, not including name, address, email address, or telephone number, during visits to this website in order to display advertisements on other websites that may also be of interest to users.

Please send any complaints about advertising to: indonesiansciencemedia@gmail.com.
