Editorial Board
Meet Our Editorial Team

All advertisements and commercially sponsored publications are independent from editorial decisions. The Editorial Board does not endorse any product or service marked as an advertisement or promoted by a sponsor in Nursing Science Studies (NSS) publications. Editorial content is not compromised by commercial or financial interests, or by any specific arrangements with advertising clients or sponsors.
The management of Nursing Science Studies (NSS) reserves the right to decline any type of advertising that may damage the reputation of the journal or is inappropriate to the content published by the journal.
Nursing Science Studies (NSS) does not accept advertising for products or services known to be harmful to health, including but not limited to tobacco and alcohol products.
Advertisements may not be deceptive or misleading and must be verifiable. They should clearly identify the advertiser and the product or service being offered. Exaggerated or extravagantly worded copy will not be accepted.
Advertisements will not be accepted if they appear to be indecent or offensive in either text or artwork, or if they relate to content of a personal, racial, ethnic, sexual orientation, or religious nature.
Once an advertisement has been deployed online, it may be withdrawn from the journal website at any time if the Editor(s)-in-Chief or the Publisher request its removal.
Nursing Science Studies (NSS) does not permit treatment-specific or drug-specific campaigns to be targeted to a specific article or to any page where the editorial content relates to the product being advertised. Advertisers may not link advertisements to articles using keywords, nor may they request that an advertisement for a specific product appear in the same location and at the same time as a specific article mentioning that product.
Advertisements and editorial content must be clearly distinguishable. The journal does not publish advertorial content, and any sponsored supplements must be clearly identified as such.
If a supplement did not undergo peer review, or if it underwent a peer review process different from that of the regular journal content, this must be explicitly stated.
Editorial decisions are not influenced by current or potential sponsors or advertisers, and are not affected by marketing considerations. Advertisers and sponsors have no control over editorial decisions and no influence over the results of searches users may conduct on the journal website by keyword or search topic.
If any advertisement is requested outside of the journal’s standard advertising positions, a request should be submitted to the editorial office. A full and final decision will normally be provided within three business days.
The journal may work with third-party advertising companies to serve advertisements and/or collect certain information when users visit the website. These companies may use cookies or web beacons to collect non-personally identifiable information, excluding personal data such as name, address, email address, or telephone number, during visits to this website in order to help display advertisements on other websites that may be of interest to users.
