Journal of Wound Research and Technology is an international, peer-reviewed, Gold Open Access journal committed to publishing high-quality evidence that advances wound science, clinical practice, and innovation in wound prevention, assessment, treatment, and healing. The journal aims to support evidence-based and best-practice wound management across acute, chronic, and complex wounds in diverse healthcare settings.
The journal welcomes original research, systematic reviews, scoping reviews, meta-analyses, clinical trials, observational studies, case reports, evidence-based practice papers, consensus documents, and technology-focused articles that contribute to improved wound outcomes and patient care.
Its scope includes, but is not limited to, diabetic foot ulcers, pressure injuries, venous leg ulcers, arterial ulcers, burns, surgical wounds, traumatic wounds, wound infection and biofilm, skin integrity, tissue repair and regeneration, wound bed preparation, debridement, exudate management, advanced wound dressings, negative pressure wound therapy, medical devices, digital health, artificial intelligence, wound imaging, remote monitoring, and other emerging technologies relevant to wound care.
