Data Sharing Policy (Availability Statement)

Journal of Wound Research and Technology encourages authors to support transparency, reproducibility, and the advancement of scientific knowledge by making the data underlying their research available whenever possible and appropriate.

Availability Statement

Authors are encouraged to include a Data Availability Statement in their manuscripts indicating whether the data supporting the findings of the study are publicly available, available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request, or not publicly available due to ethical, legal, privacy, or confidentiality restrictions.

Data Sharing

Where possible, authors should deposit datasets in a suitable publicly accessible repository and provide the persistent link, DOI, or accession number in the manuscript.

If the data cannot be shared openly, authors should clearly explain the reason, such as patient privacy, informed consent limitations, institutional restrictions, copyright issues, or legal and ethical considerations.

Author Responsibility

Authors are responsible for the accuracy of the data availability statement and for ensuring that any shared data are properly anonymized and comply with applicable ethical and legal requirements. The journal may request clarification regarding data access or supporting materials during editorial assessment or peer review.
