Journal of Wound Research and Technology may undertake direct marketing activities, including email communications, calls for papers, journal announcements, and other promotional outreach, to inform potential authors, reviewers, readers, and academic partners about the journal’s scope, publications, and scholarly activities.
All direct marketing activities conducted on behalf of the journal are carried out in an ethical, professional, transparent, and responsible manner. The journal is committed to ensuring that all promotional communications are appropriate, well targeted, and relevant to the journal’s aims and scope in wound research, wound care, wound prevention, wound treatment, associated skin conditions, and related interdisciplinary healthcare fields.
The journal ensures that:
- all promotional communications are relevant to the journal’s scope and intended academic audience;
- no misleading, deceptive, excessive, or spam-like invitations are sent;
- all communications clearly identify the journal’s name, scope, editorial process, and key publication policies;
- any publication fees or related charges, where applicable, are disclosed clearly and transparently; and
- direct marketing activities do not influence, interfere with, or compromise editorial independence or editorial decision-making.
Any individual who receives promotional communication from the Journal of Wound Research and Technology has the right to request removal from the journal’s mailing list or to unsubscribe from future communications.
